One player launches Take a Joke on the big screen — a PC wired to the TV, a laptop, whatever the room can see. A QR code and a 5-character room code appear for everyone else.

Join from your phone

Scan the QR or enter the 5-character room code. No app download, no account — just your name and you're in.

The TV shows a prompt. Players choose their wittiest card from their hand and submit on their phone.

A winner is chosen

Cards are revealed one by one on the big screen. The judge picks their favorite — or everyone votes. Points are tallied until a champion is crowned.
